Towards the end of 2013 students, teachers and I reflected on the diagram we had been using to describe My-learning for a year. There were some things that definitely needed tweaking – I have no idea how we failed to put anything vaguely collaborative in the original diagram! Some words the kids just really didn’t identify with, others needed clarifying. There was no real sense of partnership between teacher and student, and between students themselves. Then vital things such and student agency and self awareness weren’t even mentioned. Definitely time for an overhaul!!
So here’s what we came up with. What do you think?
